G’day, I’m Jay Flood.
I’m a counsellor, spiritual coach, and founder of MindShaper — a counselling, coaching and courses practice helping people come back to themselves. Based in Noosa Heads, available online worldwide.
My Story
Why I Do This Work
I spent many years in charismatic church culture. Many of those years were beautiful and meaningful — and some of them left wounds I didn’t fully understand until much later.
Through my own journey of questioning, healing, and rebuilding, I discovered a deep passion for helping others navigate the same path. Not by telling people what to believe, but by walking alongside them as they rediscover their own truth.
Today, through MindShaper, I offer counselling, coaching, and courses to help people process spiritual experiences, heal from harmful belief systems, and reconnect with an authentic, life-giving faith.
Whether you’re questioning everything, recovering from church hurt, or simply looking for a safe space to explore your spiritual life — I’m here to help.
Jay can tailor presentations and workshops to suit the needs of your church, leadership team, or event.
Meet Your Guide
G'day, I'm Jay Flood.
At the core of my work is a simple thing: helping people come back to themselves. Back to truth. Back to what actually matters.
I work with people in the middle of change — those untangling wounds, questioning what they were taught, or just feeling worn down by life’s noise and expectations.
Through my work in counselling and spiritual coaching, I’ve supported many individuals who have experienced both the life-giving beauty and the complex challenges of faith environments. I’m passionate about helping people rediscover authentic spirituality and healthy faith.
I’m based in Noosa Heads, QLD, and I work with clients online worldwide. I’m also into surfing and being around the ocean — seeing and experiencing the world and having fun as much as possible.
